LOGLINE: When a beloved and eccentric millionaire is struck by tragedy, no one questions his grief until his behavior goes too far, forcing everyone to examine his sanity and motives.

When Trenton “Valentino," an eccentric millionaire, tragically loses his wife and son, no one questions his understandable grief and isolation, until one day his bizarre yet well-intended behavior goes too far. Many eyebrows are raised thru his family, friends, and across town, causing them all to question Trenton’s sanity. When he is finally diagnosed with Schizophrenia, the family is torn apart even farther with grief with the loss of the man they knew, yet fail to realize he is still there. He is still kind and loving, only wanting to help, it is just now people don't understand him and see him only thru the fear of the unknown. With these "goggles" on, they fail to see the goodness in his "crazy" actions (eg: offering to pave the roads with pennies since no one uses them and it will be "beautiful!").

This film gives us a very real, yet entertaining view of Schizophrenia from a first hand account, it’s behavioral traits and the stress it causes on a family. It also shows that just because someone has it, they are NOT dangerous, yet must be on medication in order to function in society.

This screenplay is based on my uncle Trent, whom I watched go from my favorite uncle, a normal, healthy family man... to a Schizophrenic brought on by a dramatic divorce with his ill-willed ex-wife. He suffered from it for 25+ years until his passing in 2013. Throughout this time, we stayed close and had many conversations about his disease and how it affected him visually, emotionally, sexually, socially, and audibly.

I also studied Schizophrenia at the Professional School of Psychology and wrote several papers on the subject, giving me a deep understanding of it’s inner workings, patterns, and behaviors, gifting me with a great insight for this film.

It is my hope that this film will help others to understand Schizophrenia in a different light and spread compassion for those who suffer from it and their family's.

Spirit of the Land

(FILM - working title)

LOGLINE: After moving into a new dream home, reality is quickly revealed that the new owners are not alone and must make peace with the land's history before they all lose their sanity (or lives).

When Nancy and her family move into their dream home in Southern California, it does not take long for her to realize that "something is wrong here." As an active mother, she loses her energy and zest for life. Her children do not seem to want to play as much and the only one that seems normal is her husband who works very long hours away in the city.

Nancy starts having visions of spirits, bringing back memories of her childhood and always being sensitive to supernatural energy. Fearing she may go crazy, Nancy begins her quest for answers. Realizing the history goes farther than even modern day records can tell her, Nancy relies on her empathetic visions and intuition that shows her a story in history of when her land belong to the peaceful Native Indians and they were overtaken by the Spanish.

With lives brutally lost, these lovers of the land and protectors of earth, many of their Spirits stayed behind to guard the property for decades. Now heavy with time, needing peace, they reach out to Nancy for freedom. Eyebrows of many are raised, questioning Nancy's sanity, jeopardizing her marriage, embarrassing her children, and giving her a "crazy pants" nickname in town.

Thru her strength, love, determination, and the help of Spiritual Guides, Nancy takes on the challenge of transforming the energy of the land by healing the Spirits, proving she LOVE CAN CONQUER ALL.

This film is lightly based on my own story of living in Oceanside, CA, in the area where the first Indians were invaded by the Spanish. Being blessed with many Spiritual "gurus" and coaches, we were able to heal the heavy energy of the land, bringing laughter and joy back into a neighborhood that was always quiet, somber, of void of laughter.

Angel Elusive

(FILM - working title)

LOGLINE: A Human Angel approaching 40 realizes who she is, why she is here, and that she has powers to heal human suffering thru love, yet may be unable to receive it in return.

After years of loss and grief, Sarah awakens from an enlightened journey where she is stunned to discover that she is a real, Human Angel and there are others like her all around. Looking back on her life, her angelic role makes sense. She was the sanity for her insanely depressed mother, the light for the fiercely dark sister, the peace for her father, the joy for her grandparents, and the strength and wisdom for her naiver friends. Sarah keeps her secret and learns to invoke her powers to help heal others thru transformation, empathy, and love.

As her powers grow, questions are raised about who she is and why: When she is so loving, how does she not accept love in return, keeping her forever alone?

Thru my studies, I have come to find (and meet) those who believe they are Human Angels. This is a highly up and coming topic on the Internet and social media, as well as books being published and promoted. This is a story I have been blessed with by one of those angels...

The Love of My Lives

The Love of My Lives

(FILM)

LOGLINE: When Samantha, a screenplay writer, meets an unavailable lover, she is bombarded by visions of their past lives together filled with passion, forever met by obstacles, giving her a new soul mission to share these truths with the world.

Thru Samantha's visions and narrative, we will journey over centuries thru beautiful tales of forbidden love, passions, and betrayals, as these lovers experience life after life, loss after loss, love after love. Every time these two souls come together, their passion is striking and powerful, yet they may never truly be together... if it is up to the universe.

This film will be told in story/movie form, with scientific research and facts based on Quantum Physics, Epigenetics, and research on past lives transitions and memories. it shows that... If past lives are real, then it is possible when we meet those we instantly "know" and "love," that we were with them in another life. This can be a very HEALING LESSON.

The Unperfected

(FILM)

LOGLINE: Growing up in Beverly Hills, Ashli believes only she is flawed, until she discovers imperfections everywhere, realizing: NO ONE IS PERFECT, THEREFORE WE ALL ARE PERFECT.

Growing up in Beverly Hills, surrounded by the most beautiful and famous people in the world, Ashli always believed everyone around her was perfect, except herself. Always focusing on her flaws and all the impeccable qualities of everyone else, Ashli becomes fascinated when she discovers her best friends are in fact are NOT perfect and are hiding deep shames of their own.

Ashli is drawn to the truth and comes to realize human imperfections are beautiful, including her own.

It is my desire to get this film in the world to inspire everyone to believe in their individual beauty, knowing we ALL have flaws and imperfections.... That is what makes us beautiful!

The Unperfected

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time."

Into the Light

(FILM - working title)

LOGLINE: After 30 years of grief, when Sue is faced with taking responsibility of her past, or continuing to reject it as truth, the honesty becomes a challenge she may not have the courage to battle and may cost her life.

During a powerful, life changing psychological seminar, we are taken on a journey of Sue, and her struggles in life after losing her infant son in a tragic accident she blames herself for. Hiding her shame for over 30 years, she is faced with trauma, death, and depression, all while trying to mask the pain with alcohol and drugs, adding to her self-destruction. When Sue is told she will die if she does not stop drinking, she is faced with taking responsibility of her past, or continuing to reject it as truth by masking it with booze.

The attendees of the seminar are entertained, enlightened, and saddened by her stories, as they go thru the lessons of accountability in life and the consequences we all must face if we choose to walk away from the light.

"I can never be that honest with myself." Those were the words of my mother when asked to take the Landmark Forum, a life awakening class with values of integrity and truth I had graduated. This screenplay is based on my mom's life and her long struggle with depression, alcoholism, and drug use, all brought on by the loss of a one and a half year-old child in a tragic car accident. I only discovered that my mother was driving the vehicle after her death in 2010, even though we were incredibly close, knew each other and shared our deepest secrets, but not this one. This was a truth she may have never even told herself because it was too painful, so she kept it inside and tried to "mask" the pain, causing her to die prematurely at age 59.

I want to make this powerful film to save the lives of others who may not have the courage to face their past and have never been warned what it can cost them - their life.

Spirit

Karp

LOGLINE: Karp’s creative and brilliant persona has gotten him to the top of the film industry, yet it also attracts the most peculiar and unimaginable women, giving him the opportunity to “save” them with his obscure sexual intelligence, romantic whims and intellect.

Karp is a leader in the film industry, traveling making movies all around the world for months, to years at a time. Upon each destination, he romances an eccentric woman (or two).  Karp himself is a very unique man with a genius IQ, paired with social awkwardness, which has led him to becoming an intimacy master and sex expert. Karp’s creative and brilliant persona is what has gotten him to the top of his field, attracting peculiar and unimaginable women everywhere he goes. With each woman, Karp sees a challenge, and how he can use his emotional and sexual intelligence to assist each of them with their flaws, making for an entertaining, tantalizing, and intelligent comedy/drama.

This film is based on the real life of my long-time mentor, Michael Karp, who is a Special Effects Supervisor in "the biz." He grew up in Hollywood surrounded by sexual freedom and exploration, holds a genius IQ, is highly eccentric, and attracts women of the same. He has given me the right to this movie and is willing to help write it if requested.
